What is Drink & Ink?
Geared towards non-creatives and creatives alike, Drink & Ink is a chance to gather your besties and put adulting on hold. We will get reacquainted with your creative side using alcohol inks.
For $25 / person, we are going to experiment with the ink/alcohol on 4×4 ceramic tiles. When you feel ready, you can begin on special, water resistant paper. Its simple. Just play and see where the color takes you. It’s kind of like art therapy. You pick the location and I’ll come to you with all supplies. Minimum of 5, max 30, please. Everyone needs to stay hydrated, right? So bring your favorite beverage to share or not. 🙂
What are alcohol inks?
In a word, fun and freeing. Dye based ink you drop onto a water resistant surface, such as ceramic tile or yupo paper. The ink will slowly expand and morph. Add other colors, see how they interact. Adding alcohol will lift and lighten the ink, make it more fluid and mobile. The ink is fast drying, vibrant, free flowing and whimsical. The best part is, YOU CAN’T MESS UP!
